I arrived at the Brisbane International airport at 10am ready to check-in with Qantas for our flight at 12:15pm. After two movies, a few soundtracks, a couple of episodes of Family Guy and a quick stopover in LA, we arrived at JFK airport, New York. On arrival by taxi to the Chelsea International Hostel, we dumped our bags and headed straight out to the streets to explore the Chelsea district. We had our first meal in New York at Stone Oven Bake Pizza, having my first New York pizza slice. It was great and the pizza slices were huge, I only needed one piece of pizza to fill me up. We ended up walking all the way to Madison Square Garden for a quick look before heading home. The temperature wasn’t too cold, however the wind was freezing.
