Today was Thanksgiving Day, which is huge in America. A group of us started the day early, catching the subway to Central Park to fight the crowds for a spot to watch the Thanksgiving Day Parade. The parade was really good as I have never seen anything like it before and the place was packed with families. The only downside was that the morning started off really cold and windy but otherwise ok. After the parade, we went to have lunch at TGI Friday’s, which was really nice with very big meals that completely filled me up. We then walked to Times Square and went to the cinema’s to see Four Christmas’s. It was a comedy with Vince Vaughn and Reese Witherspoon. After the movies, we had fun taking some photos in a photo booth before heading out to the street to do some window shopping up and down Times Square. By this time it was dark, so we took some more photos with the lights in the background, which were so bright and amazing. We then trekked home for an early night.
